The Long Teema Down Coat Is Made Of Recycled Polyester And It Has A Relaxed, Straight Fit And The Topstitched Taifuuni Pattern. The Coat Has A Recycled Down Filling And A Fixed Hood That Can Be Tightened With Drawstrings. There Is A Snap Button Closure In The Front And A Two-Way Zipper With An Embroidered Marimekko Logo Puller. The Front Welt Pockets Have Concealed Snap Button Closures And The Side Seams Have Long Slits With Concealed Zipper Closures.

Designed By Maija Isola, Taifuuni (Typhoon) Belonged Originally To A Series Of Patterns Based On Photographs Depicting Parts Of The Human Body. The Starting Point For The Taifuuni Pattern Was The Curve Of The Shoulder. The Model For The Photographs Was The Designer’S Daughter.
